About the Piece:

When asking my visitors what series of mine they'd like to see more in, the Watercolored Series was always in the top 2 of the poll results so I wanted to answer the call for more works in the series with something a little different. Though not in the exact same styling as my previous Watercolored pieces, I stuck with the watercolors overall and the relatively minimalist style. Instead of basic symbols, though, I opted for typography: something I don't do all that often but want to challenge myself with. The result of some simple experimentation was this piece. I had wanted to do a piece with this quote from Skyward Sword for a long time, but just never really came up with a way to do it that I enjoyed. Video games aren't always full of great quotes and dialogue in some games is notoriously bad, but this particular quote from Skyward Sword is one I think plenty of people enjoy, specifically the ZeLink fans out there. I'm actually quite pleased with how this piece came out and I am intending on making more for other fandoms/quotes, as well. If you have a favorite [short] quote in your fandom? Let me know!
