About the Piece:

Even before I started the Egyptian series, I began brainstorming for some other symbols/icons that could be used in future prints in general and the insignia from Assassin's Creed quickly came to mind. It's an immensely popular symbol across fan-made art/merchandise, and since it's highly geometric in shape I figured it would suit well in the Egyptian series. I initially had no idea there was a specific Egyptian Assassins insignia, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out there was one! The insignia itself does not include the Ankh or vibrant color scheme; those are obvious modifications for this print. The Ankh was included to allude to the Pieces of Eden from the greater plots of the Assassin's Creed games; similarly, the color scheme of the insignia itself is taken from traditional depictions of the goddess Isis, the original owner of the Ankh. I didn't initially color the insignia but I'm glad I decided to give it a shot! Very happy with how this turned out.
