About the Piece:

For all the fans of art history out there who enjoy parodies of the classics, here is another one for you! Very obviously a parody of Leonardo da Vinci's famed Vitruvian Man, this is the original version of my "Vitruvian Minion" that I initially brainstormed and thus resulted in both this piece as well as the colorful blueprint version. The text on the document is all a full translation of da Vinci's Italian into Russian; I can't vouch for its accuracy but it did the trick Unlike the blueprint version, this is a more straightforward take and truly modeled after da Vinci's as much as I could. I enjoyed making this piece look old/antiqued and I think it turned out pretty darn well. I hope other Despicable Me/Minion/etc fans enjoy this piece along with the classical art lovers, too!
